About the opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Sales Professional who is keen to utilise their exceptional sales abilities and relationship management skills. Working within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Unit which is located within the Convergence Business Sales Organisation, you will establish good working relationships to all of BT’s major call centre client base by selling new CRM applications and solutions.
These clients have come to expect high calibre service offerings and solutions from us and with your proactive relationship building skills and your ability to sell applications within a business context you will help spearhead this department onto further success.
You will be responsible for the acquisition, growth and defence of the CRM Applications Business across the CBS portfolio in the UK in a specific sector. You will develop and maintain business-led consultative sales relationships. You will work closely with Specialist System Engineers, Account teams and other specialist disciplines to sell complex contact centre solutions.

About you:
You will be an experienced and focussed sales professional with an excellent business acumen and good understanding of technical propositions and solutions. You will be customer focused and hold evidence of your ability to sell application solutions that are of a complex, high value and often unique nature. Your negotiation and influencing skills will be exceptional and you will be self sufficient with the ability to work within and drive virtual teams.
You will have a proven track record in selling contact centre solutions and a ‘hands on’ approach. You will be happy to work within established processes and procedures and will have the desire to learn new skills and develop existing knowledge. You will be able to function effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team and be flexible to travel.
