Business Development Manager

Turning the traditional design agency approach on its head, Cheltenham based Group Creative, is anything but ordinary. An award winning integrated marketing agency, who also feature on the Recommended Agency Register (RAR), we believe our role is to help clients generate more revenue, putting the client and their needs at the centre of all we do.

As Business Development Manager youd be joining the talented and entertaining bunch at our Head Office in Cheltenham and working with a network of Creative Partners across the country. Its that way of working that enables us to spread creativity nationally, but with a local presence that allows us to be on hand for our clients anywhere in the country. And, its an approach thats working for us, thats why we need more people!

What were looking for

A Business Development Manager eager to take on a new and exciting challenge, helping take Creative to the next level. Becoming part of a ground breaking team, youll be responsible for researching, identifying and developing new business opportunities in the Cheltenham area, well agree some initial targets and support you every step of the way, when you make money we make money.

A natural at turning organisations from potential customers into happy clients by paying close attention to their needs and KPIs, youll be delivering individually tailored solutions across a range of marketing channels. Able to develop great sales strategies youll thrive on providing everything from the initial contact, the pitch and presentation, all the way through to closing the deal and handing them over to our client management team. And, youll be a true team player, sharing that sales expertise among your co-workers  by providing support to the wider national Creative Network.

Were young, brave and ambitious with a bit of a thing about great design and great service if that sounds like you then we ought to
meet!

Wed like you to have:

  • A great sense of humour!
  • Demonstrable experience and success in a B2B selling environment
  • Good understanding of the UK marketing sector
  • Confident negotiator with an ability to close the deal
  • Strong client management skills
  • Confident and capable communicator
  • Self-motivated,able to take the initiative and think on your feet
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks
  • Excellent time management skills
  • UK Driving License
