New Media - Sales - Business Development - Communications, Agency - Manchester

Digital Business Development Manager : Manchester

The Company:
Our client is a fully integrated communications agency working across print, media and digital. With more than 20 years experience they boast a large and varied client base across most business sectors.
The role:

The successful candidate will report directly into the Director of Operations and will have the following accountabilities:

Wining New Digital Business
Identification, conversation and introduction of new digital business opportunities
Achieving targets set on sales, income and margin
To assist in the mentoring/development of the Business Development Executive (BDE) if applicable
You will be an experienced sales professional with a positive ?can do? attitude and a track record of winning targeted new business. Your most recent experience will have included selling digital media solutions, with PPC and SEO a distinct advantage.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will identify and qualify profitable prospective clients in appropriate market places and progress these through to client conversion.

Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the full range of services provided by our client

Make ?cold? telephone calls to secure appointments with prospective clients

Present the full spectrum of services at meetings with prospective clients using the most appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable new business and sustainable relationships. Follow meetings as required within the agreed timeframes

Assist as directed on pitch and/or tender proposals

Manage the introduction of a new client into the account management structure.

Provide reports as requested by the Director of Operations and the Sales Director

Ensure an appropriate level of contact with all prospective clients and keep the company?s database fully updated with appropriate client contacts and action information

Support the smooth running of the office

Package - £45K OTE with a good basic salary and uncapped commission
