A driven and motivated Senior Pre-Sales Consultant is required to deliver advanced demonstrations based on cutting-edge information retrieval and analysis software. This company's solutions are installed in more than 3,500 locations. The successful candidate will have a proven programming background, and/or certification in Java/J2EE or C#/.Net. Senior Pre-Sales Consultant Content Management Search Sales JOB TITLE: Senior Pre-Sales Consultant. AREA: London / UK. BASED: London. BASIC: £60K - £80K. OTE: + 30%. THE ROLE ·A driven and motivated Senior Pre-Sales Consultant is required to deliver advanced demonstrations based on cutting-edge information retrieval and analysis software. ·The successful candidate will be working hand-in-hand with sales directors to address customer requirements for innovative information retrieval technologies. ·The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant will ensure smooth and efficient handover of closed deals to clients post-sales consulting services. ·The Senior Pre-Sales Consultant will provide pre-sales support to clients partners to enable them to positively position FAST's search technology to their clients. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·Candidates with the ability to effectively and efficiently identify challenges and opportunities and clearly communicate to a team of peers, sales directors and executive management will be successful in this role. ·All applicants must have the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical/non-technical audiences. ·The successful candidate will have a proven programming background, and/or certification in Java/J2EE or C#/.Net. ·Applicants must have a proven ability with scripting languages, preferably Python and/or Perl. ·Proven ability with Unix and Windows server platforms is required for this role. ·Experience in pre-sales / post-sales consulting or other customer-facing roles is required for this position. ·Applicants must have experience working with information management systems such as enterprise search, content/document management, or classification systems. ·Experience with business intelligence packages such as Cognos or business objects would be beneficial for this role. ·The successful candidate will have the ability to obtain UK Government clearance. ·All applicants must have central government experience.
