Challenging Account Manager / Project Manager Role - Working for the UK's leading online news provider - 100% account management - Excellent salary package £25-30k basic OTE £37-45k Top performers earning £55k Uncapped - On going weekly training sessions in a rapidly growing company - Hardworking and professional colleagues in modern open planned offices

As an Account Manager / Project Manager for an online news provider which have over 2 million readers on a monthly basis, you will be responsible for ensuring implementation of client accounts and a smooth transition from when the new business team make the sale through to passing the account to the account management team after 6 months. This role requires a strong and direct character that is not afraid of using the assumptive close. You will be provided with a 4 week training course upon joining the company as well as a weekly training session to keep you up to date with the latest developments. As an Account Manager / Project Manager you will be an experienced B2B account Manager with drive and enthusiasm to work for a progressive and constantly evolving company. You will also have a junior member of staff assisting you, you will be required to train them so they can progress into the Account Manager role.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Account Manager / Project Manager

· Develop excellent relationships with recently acquired client accounts

· Book and attend meetings with these clients

· Build up to have 60 - 70 accounts

· Achieve and exceed targets for client retention and up selling

· Implementation of client account from point of sale through to completion

· Attend the office every Friday for product training and reviews and one other day in the week

· Manage the UK wide territory

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES - Account Manager / Project Manager

· Highly developed account management skills and experience

· Assertive and persuasive character with excellent relationship building skills

· An interest in economics and politics would be advantageous

· A desire to be part of an already successful and growing organisation

· Posses a professional manner on the telephone and in person

· An adaptable and flexible 'can do' attitude
