Job Description

Account Manager

Location: Home Counties
Basic Salary £45,000. + Bonus + Car allowance + Benefits

The Role

This role is quite unique and you will be as much of an ambassador as you will a professional account manager.

You will be responsible for bridging the relationship between the Company and its key clients though both Customer Data and Insights.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Meetings

To ensure regular account review meetings are held covering a full review of service performance, client issues etc.

Reporting

Provide the management team with weekly updates on client issues and business development opportunities.

Pre-sales advice

To support the Sales team in recommending the right approach for each new prospective customer in line with their customer base, existing policies, procedures and future objectives. This may include creation of indicative customer journeys, refinement of messaging and marketing and promotion suggestions.

Client Implementation

To engage the IT, operations and client implementation teams on the set up requirements of each client and work with them to ensure that the accounts are live and operational within agreed timescales and budgets. To continue this work as clients integrate the services into their business.

The Candidate

You will be:

  • Highly organised and flexible with an eye for accuracy and detail.
  • Proven account management experience ideally in the retail sector.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting trusted relationships.
  • Literate and numerate, with an obsession for detail and the customer at the centre of everything you do.
  • The creative flair to advise Clients on how to articulate the Company's service to their own customers through their chosen communication channels.
  • A champion of the customer both internally and externally
  • Experience of designing, documenting and implementing processes and ensuring the engagement of all stakeholders.
  • Good levels of written and verbal communication with a creative flair.
  • An awareness of online and multichannel retail and a love of shopping.
