This is a great opportunity to join a successful sales team as either a new business or existing business healthcare adviser.   As a Personal Sales Adviser, you'll feel comfortable and welcome in our customer focused sales environment where, in addition to enhancing customers' health and wellbeing, you can look forward to excellent benefits.  You'll be performing to set sales targets using a consultative sales approach, whilst ensuring service levels and customer satisfaction remain paramount. 

Key Responsibilities

  • You'll be responsible for managing your own workloads in such a way that you'll be creating opportunities, achieving and increasing sales, persisting and converting targets.
  • Working to specific daily targets and departmental standards, ensuring that a quality service to our customers is delivered and service levels are achieved.
  • You'll be using a solution/consultative selling approach providing the most appropriate recommendations for prospective BUPA customers
  • You'll be demonstrating that the interests of the customers are uppermost and you'll be treating them fairly and individually
  • Maintaining excellent, professional relationship with customers, following up with additional information or contact as required
  • You'll be ensuring that the statutory regulatory obligations under the Financial Services act and BUPA's own internal policies are adhered to.

Specific Skills

  • You'll have telesales or call centre experience
  • You'll also have well developed communication skills, including a polite and professional telephone manner
  • You'll need to be team player and have excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • You'll have the determination to succeed as well as the self motivation to achieve and exceed set targets
  • You'll need empathy to listen and deal with customers sensitively and professionally
  • You'll have the ability to persuade and influence customer opinion
  • You'll have the flexibility to learn new approaches and adapt to changing working practices
  • You'll have good knowledge of Windows-based technology
