Commercial Lines New Business Negotiator - Cambridge : £20 - £27k

Company:
Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Lines New Business Negotiator to join their growing team based in Cambridge.
Job Profile:
Working within a small team placing new business for medium sized corporate clients with a typical premium spend between £2,500 and £100,000.

Involvement in all Commercial classes of General Insurance Business. Servicing of clients business after placing and claims will be dealt with by other Departments.
The ideal candidate would need a minimum of three years experience working in a Commercial Insurance Broking environment.
Willingness to commit to training, CII exams and networking, possibly outside office hours.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills essential, together with an enthusiasm to get the job done.

The role will involve:
Negotiating terms and commissions with Insurers and Underwriters by phone and face to face.
Manage a range of Insurer relationships by phone and face to face.
Communicate with Account Executives and Directors.
Understand online insurer quote systems.
Produce clear and concise new business Quotation Summaries and Risk Presentations.
Contact prospects to obtain risk information and agree cover instructions.
Working within timescales and prioritising work loads.

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role.
