Up to £50k package, car / car allowance and benefits package.

The Company 

·    Our client is a an expanding specialist sub-contractor player in the construction industry.

·         Operating in the commercial sector, achieving rapid and significant growth it is seeking to capitalize on further opportunities by recruiting for this new additional role, within its dry lining, suspended ceiling and fire protection sector.

·         As a preferred subcontractor to many of the established and largest contractors and housebuilders, their reputation is built on customer service, support and satisfaction.

The Role

·         This external sales role is responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining new contracting opportunities with a wide variety of clients and customers.

·         Key to this success is an understanding of contractor relationships and the ability to develop and manage this contractor relationship with key personnel at both site, regional and head office level.

·         Identifying major project opportunities and specific package applications.

·         Promoting services and application led solutions

·         Enhancing and developing the technical service to architects, consultants and other key specifiers.

·         Participating in high level, complex design meetings.

·         Working alongside the existing estimating and surveying teams.

·    Ensuring that specifications and design details are fit for purpose, are in accordance with the building regulations and accreditation bodies.

·    The role will involve driving the added value services offering and creating complete customer satisfaction.

 The Candidate 

·    The ideal candidate will possess a construction related sales experience, either from a contracting or manufacturing background.

·         Ability to communicate, negotiate, present at the most senior level.

·         Knowledge of the Main Contractors operating within the Commercial and House building sectors.

·         An effective team player who has the ability to develop relationships at all levels.

·         Customer focussed, both within and outside the organisation and has a strong desire to achieve and deliver results.

·         Ability to act proactively and take personal initiative to resolve issues, identify and implement solutions.

·         PC literate and conversant with Microsoft software, particularly Word and Excel.
