Job Description

Field Sales Executive/Business Development  

Competitive salary plus performance related bonus and benefits

Our client is a U.K. wide resource to stimulate and drive innovation within various industrial sectors. Working with global commercial partners it is committed to increasing novel technology adoption within the process sector.  

They are seeking a Sales Executive to work as a cross-platform resource to generate sales for the Advanced Processing and Low Carbon Technology areas. You will sell their facilities and their unique expertise. You will be expected to support and enhance existing sales effort, manage existing accounts and generate your own sales pipeline. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be working in collaboration with the existing commercial and technical teams of each platform to ensure a full pipeline, good account and contract management and to help develop and mould the shape of their future business strategy. There will be a large requirement for UK and overseas travel as their customers are globally based.

The person they are looking for will have a proven sales track record. He/ she will be capable of selling to a diverse range of internal and external clients and interacting in a multicultural and multifunctional environment. The person they are looking for will enjoy new challenges and learning a range of different scientific disciplines and will have the ability to sell to different market sectors.  Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential and therefore the position requires a high degree of self-confidence.
