Area Sales Manager Packaging Products Sales

JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager.
AREA: South West.
BASED: Bristol, Somerset and Cardiff.
BASIC: £38K
OTE: £7.5K.
BENEFITS: Executive car, blackberry, laptop, 25 days holiday allowance, pension, life cover, health and home office set up.

THE ROLE

·If you are looking for a step up in your career then this is the ideal opportunity for you to work as an Area Sales Manager to sell a full range of packaging products into markets including, automotive and food.
·This is a fantastic opportunity working for the UKs market leading specialist manufacturer of polythene packaging.
·This role will be 30% new business and the successful candidate will retain his or her own accounts.
·The Area Sales Manager will work with order ranges from £1.5K to tens of thousands.
·The target as a team for year one will be in the region of £2.5million, the Area Sales Manager will be expect to contribute significantly.
·The Area Sales Manager will be passed leads to convert by a dedicated telesales team.

THE COMPANY

·Established in 1982, this company has global presence with 4 offices.
·They have a turnover of £25million and currently employ 270 people, 9 of these are on the sales team.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·All applicants must have some external solutions sales experience.
·An understanding and ability to put into action effective territory management is essential for this role.
·Candidates must have sold polythene packaging.
·Any experience of selling to the industrial marketplace would be beneficial for this role.
·This company is looking for a salesperson with a stable career history and ideally some sort of degree.
·The successful candidate will be a hungry go getter.
