Basic Circa £20K (Neg Dep on Experience and qualification) + OTE + Benefits with progression to an enhanced salary, incentive and car.

My Client, a UK sole appointed distributor for a Manufacturer of Factory Automation & Sensor & Control components, has an opportunity for a Graduate/Trainee Sales Engineer. Initially based internally and then gradually developing into external sales covering the customer base throughout the UK region and selling the Company's full range of sensing components into OEM's, SI's and large End Users and Electrical Wholesaler and Distributor customers. A development plan will be created specific to your need with objectives and milestones to be met and rewarded to aid your progress into the full sales role. A professional outlook, with excellent personal presentation, you will in effect represent to the customer the manufacturer in the UK, with support from the rest of this small but interesting team.

The successful candidate will ideally have a good knowledge & grounding in a wide range of control components with preferably Sensing, Machine Safety for the Industrial Automation market as an area of strength and ideally a background in a similar role. In addition you are likely to have Electrical qualification to Degree level or HNC in Electrical/Electronic discipline but biased towards Industrial Control & Automation.
