Scientific Sales vacancy – Technical Sales Manager – Laboratory Sales. Zest Medical’s Scientific Recruitment division is actively searching for a proven Scientific Sales specialist with previous Sales Management experience in a Laboratory Sales environment to undertake a UK Sales Management post. The client which Zest Scientific Recruitment is working in partnership with is established as a leading provider of laboratory and industrial fluid handling products, instrumentation and equipment. As a consequence of continued UK growth, my client has created a new Sales Management post reporting directly to the board to undertake control of a field based and internal sales team with expertise in the fields of temperature management, fluid handling and electrochemistry.

The Scientific Sales Manager role represents an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Scientific Sales professional with commercial management experience. It is estimated that 70% of time will be spent at the UK head office, based in London. Particular emphasis is placed upon coaching and mentoring coupled with budgetary control / P & L responsibility. Promoting a portfolio of industry leading brands and proprietary products combined with first class levels of customer service has resulted in my client experiencing excellent levels of growth. The successful applicant will be instrumental in facilitating continued increase in market share and ensuring the brand is recognized as a leading player in the supply of the latest laboratory technologies.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous industry success leading sales teams in the scientific community having originally forged a career as a high performing sales executive. Additional professional skills such as motivating sales professionals and providing relevant commercial training and development are additionally desired. It will be highly advantageous to have previous e-commerce sales and marketing experience.

The remuneration package for the Scientific Sales Manager comprises of a basic salary ranging from £45,000 - £48,000 (DOE) + Bonus and a range of additional benefits.
