Account Manager Prevention & Detection Software

JOB TITLE: Account Manager.
AREA: UK.
BASED: South UK.
BASIC: Up to £40K.
OTE: Up to £80K.
BENEFITS: Corporate benefits including car allowance.

THE ROLE

·If progression and earning potential are at the forefront of your mind then this is the position for you as it offers an Account Manager the chance to sell innovative open source intrusion prevention and detection software solutions.
·This position targets the corporate and enterprise market.
·This is predominantly a new business role managing accounts as they are won.
·The Account Manager will be selling at board level.
·Order values will be in excess of $30K and will sometimes be over $100K.

THE COMPANY

·This is a US based company established in 2001 with over 200 employees and 20 in the UK.
·They have been growing 150% annually.
·They turn over approximately $100million.
·Gartner acknowledge them as the most visionary in the top quartile in their industry.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·Applicants must be selling a complex software solution to the corporate / enterprise market.
·The Account Manager will be a new business hunter.
·Any experience of selling security solutions is a big advantage.
·Knowledge of intrusion prevention and detection is vital.
·Experience of working for a small / start up organisation is a preference.
·Candidates will have preferably sold a smaller portfolio of solutions.
