Job Description

Industrial Products Sales Engineer

UK based

Salary £30,000 - £45,000 plus OTE and extensive benefits package including car allowance

Our client is a global leader in the supply of high pressure and high volume fluid pumping stations. They have been manufacturing high pressure pumps for mining and industrial markets for over one hundred years and were an early innovator in the design and manufacture of high pressure systems for long wall mining. Today, through their network of international offices and agents, they support their customers across four continents (Europe, North America, China, Australia).

Due to the continued expansion of the business, the company are now looking to recruit an Industrial Products Sales Engineer to work with the Commercial Manager in order to identify new business and to manage a number of well established accounts.

Much of your time will be spent in the field, both in the UK and internationally, calling on existing and potential clients who will primarily be industrial users of high pressure pumps to determine their requirements and put together a solution from their product and service offering.

Candidates for this role should have experience of opening up new accounts and new international markets in target sectors and experience of major account management.  You should be skilled in identifying and managing overseas agents and distributors and have proven experience within the pump or water hydraulics industry with appropriate technical product knowledge.  Confident, ambitious and driven, you will be expected to push the business and demand success for the customer.

Due to the nature of the role, the position requires a willingness to undertake international travel on a regular basis.  Candidates for this role are welcome to apply from all parts of the UK; you do not need to be located in any specific area of the country.
