Job Title: Graduate Sales Engineer / Trainee Sales Engineer

Salary:

• £25,000 Basic OTE £30,000 year one

The Company: This premium supplier of engineering products wants to recruit a graduate with either a mechanical, electrical or electronics degree as part of their growth strategy in 2012. Working alongside the Business Development Director you will go through an extensive training and development programme to help you succeed in the role.

The Role: After your training you will be based from home covering a set geographical region. Generating new business leads you will identify engineering accounts to visit to sell low value components into. Predominately dealing with design engineers you will need to be comfortable selling using your technical knowledge however the ability to build rapport is also essential. Applicants with at least an HNC in any engineering subject are invited to apply as long as they have the ability and desire to get into sales.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing a sales territory
• Dealing with design engineers
• Winning new business face to face
• Negotiating contracts

For this Graduate position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• HNC in engineering either in mechanical, electrical or electronics
• Well presented
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Team player
• Enthusiastic and target focussed
