A specialist media publisher in the politics arena is looking for a number of enthusiastic and proactive graduate-calibre individuals to be based from their central London office.

This European leader has a pedigree of success spanning nearly 200 years and focuses on providing a platform for organisations to communicate and liaise with local, national and European Government through dedicated magazines, newspapers and journals, conferences, events and awards ceremonies.

Based in the office while you go through the product and sales training, you will start to build your base of accounts by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities.  Initially building relationships over the phone, the role will become more client facing as you become more confident.

Each of the three divisions targets a specific Government audience.  Clients will be any organisation that has a vested interest in airing their views or policies to civil servants and/or Members of Parliament in the UK and EU.  You may be talking to blue chip organisations, small and medium sized companies, charities, lobby groups the list is endless.

In simple terms you will be selling media space, but you are also selling the opportunity for your clients to influence the right people at the right level.  Clients may want to put their point across through a simple advert or via a full advertorial and it will be down to you to ensure that they have every opportunity to gain maximum exposure and therefore have the best chance of persuading policy decision makers.

You will be managed by the Commercial Director a very experienced individual who will mentor your progress.  You will also benefit from full product training and from a 12 month sales training course that will ensure your success and fast track your growth within the business.

You must have an interest in, and a passion for, politics.  You will be driven, motivated and hard working, a good communicator, professional, enthusiastic and hungry for success.  Most importantly, you will have common sense.  Academic background is not necessarily important but personality and a hard work ethic is the right attitude is essential!

Salary Basic of £19K rising to £23K on achievement of certain targets.  On target earnings in year one are £30K
