Job Description

Global, leading FMCG business currently recruiting within their Yorkshire office for a POS Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a degree educated, driven, career oriented individual seeking their next step in the world of FMCG.

As POS/Activation Manager you will be responsible for improving implementation, increasing distribution and the additional sighting of POS materials, in order to generate opportunities within your designated grocery customer.

Key areas of responsibility will be as follows:

  • To manage the relationship with the 3rd party sales execution resource.
  • Ensure activations are correctly executed and drive a differentiated shopping experience to customers.
  • Create visual aids that are clear, up to date, informative and impactful.
  • Act as the in-store expert to the customer team ensuring regular store visits.
  • Manage a continuous improvement programme.
  • Develop processes for range reviews, promotions, NPD launches, and major category recommendations.
  • Provide timely feedback to all relevant departments on how to improve service in-store.
  • Devise incentive programmes to achieve targets where necessary.

To apply you will have previous experience within the following areas:

  • Retail execution - preferably gained within an FMCG field sales / category assistant / executive role.
  • UK retail experience.
  • Project management.
