Business Development Manager Thermoformed Packaging Products

Location: National/UK

THE ROLE:
Business Development Manager required for international packaging organisation. This field based sales role will involve selling a range of thermoformed disposable packaging products including salad bowls, sandwich wedges and platters and food trays. You will focus on generating new business within market sectors including retail, wholesale / merchant, supermarket, NHS, education, councils, leisure, hotel, foodservice and catering sectors. The territory is the whole of the UK. You will be required to take a strategic approach to the role, presenting and negotiating at a senior / board level within these market sectors. You will take full responsibility for all sales targets and will champion the thermoformed products side of the business. The successful candidate will bring solid experience of the thermoforming market. The role offers the successful candidate strong career prospects with a forward thinking, progressive and highly professional organisation.

THE CANDIDATE:

· Proven track record of generating new business and comfortable with starting a territory from scratch.
· Proven knowledge and experience of the thermoforming / thermoformed products market, ideally within the packaging industry.
· Excellent account management skills.
· Strong ability to develop a client base from scratch.
· Strong relationship builder.
· Honest, reliable, trustworthy.
· Work well under pressure.
· Target driven.
· Strong confidence levels.
· Multi-tasker.
· Work from home role (flexible on location)

THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Commission: £45,000 OTE
