| My client seek a Senior National Account Manager required for a newly created role managing Grocery multiples. About the role You will be the second UK recruit and work alongside the existing Account Controller to further develop Grocery accounts. From a small base the UK business has made significant strides in the last year and is now worth over £20m, primarily in private label frozen products. This is a typical Senior National Account Manager remit with the added opportunity to really mould and shape the UK business with it being at such infancy. Existing accounts would include Asda, Morrisons and Tesco and there are opportunities to further develop these accounts and source new accounts using a category focused approach. You will have the freedom to work from home, however as the manufacturing sites are in both France and Germany you should expect to travel between one third and half of your time on a regular basis. About you You will be a proven SNAM currently working on top four grocery accounts and demonstrate a previous track record of growing these accounts in a collaborative manner. It is imperative that you have a category centric approach covering both private label and brands. Exposure within the frozen foods or fish industry would be ideal. You will have a good business mind and demonstrate the capability to work independently yet stick to the business guidelines. If you have the competency to grow in your role there would be opportunity to help develop the UK team further in line with the UK revenue performance. Any language ability in either French or German would be a bonus. About our client With a turnover over 200m Euros my client are a subsidiary of a world class food group who seek to maximise their plant efficiency in both France and Germany by exporting to the UK Grocery market. They hold an unrivalled position within their category which makes this opportunity both entrepreneurial but also among the most secure and rewarding SNAM roles within FMCG.
