National Account Manager - Stationery Sector - 35-45K base - Nationwide Ref: 14819 Location: National/UK Role
THE ROLE:
Our client is looking to appoint a National Account Manager to sell their range of quality stationery products into multiple channels; Home & Garden, Industrial, Creative and Education. You will be an accomplished sales professional with an adaptable approach and ability to one new National accounts as well as maintaining existing accounts and building strong working relationships with key decision makers. It is essential that you have sold non-food FMCG goods for a minimum of 5 years into National channels including major stationery groups and the Grocery channel.
THE COMPANY:
Our client has been trading in specialist stationery products for over 50 years and are well established with strong partnerships across educational and national retail channels. Their products are key to their ongoing success and their positioning within this sector is something that they wish to build on and achieve further growth.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Nationwide role, Midlands or South East based is preferable. *Strong account management skills. *Well versed in dealing with a variety of channels including national stationery retailers and stationers. *A passion for developing accounts and building solid professional relationships. *Ability to understand the economics of promotions. *Self-starter with a can-do attitude. *First rate negotiator and communicator. *Able to work autonomously.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: 35-45,000 base (dependent on experience) Benefits: Plus commission + car + benefits.
