Job Description

Field Sales Manager - Regional sales Manager- South East

c.£33-£38,000 + car + excellent benefits package including bonus

M3 - M4 - M40 Corridor

This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to our client's long-term ambitions. With a portfolio of brands that are category leaders within their FMCG sector; organic growth, exciting NPD plans and internal promotions have led to a requirement for a dynamic and talented individual to their Commercial team.

As a result of internal growth plans, there is an exciting opportunity for a classically trained people manager with fresh ideas to join the Sales team to make a significant contribution to their business strategy.

Reporting to General Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop the sales team within your area to achieve world class status. You will bring a strong commercial focus, influential leadership skills, as well as experience in developing capability within sales teams.  You will manage 6 direct reports at sales executive level.

Overall Responsibilities

  

  • Develop and agree account sales and activity plan detailing clear targets
  • Ensure account activities are in line with sales objectives
  • Actively work with Sales Order Planning to ensure that the customer sales forecast is accurately reflected
  • Keep the business informed of up to date account, channel and competitor developments
  • Maximise sales opportunities in line with business objectives by working with Field Sales team and customer contacts
  • Ensure all price and commercial agreements are fully implemented with the customer

We require sales professionals with a proven commercial track record in FMCG, who can demonstrate significant success managing sales teams. You must be able to demonstrate strong and effective negotiation skills backed up with a solid grasp of category management principles.
