Job Description

Nestlé 1st Choice Sales division is currently recruiting for an ambitious, high performing National Account Manager (NAM) to drive sales across a key customer group of the Confectionary Business Unit. The National Account Manager will manage 2 complex and growing household wholesaler accounts worth £20 million.

Reporting directly into the Wholesale Controller, the field sales professional will be responsible for growth by achieving sales targets and have strong stakeholder management skills. They will be influential in developing talent within the 1st Choice sales team. The National Account Manager will be instrumental in:

  • Developing our client's long term sales and profit growth.
  • Delivering the sales target within KPIs.
  • Strong customer relationships through aligned Joint Business Plans drive accelerated sales, share and profit targets.
  • Leading and managing the relationship with your wholesaler accounts ensuring Nestlé brands achieve maximum growth.

You will be a driven sales manager, with the energy to prove yourself within FMCG. Your sales manager career to date will be within the FMCG sector and preferably in the Confectionary industry; if you have Wholesale experience so much the better. You will also:

  • Be able to demonstrate strong key account management skills.
  • Profit & Loss responsibility.
  • The ability to network with decision makers.
  • Strong sales analytical skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven track record in working autonomously and teamwork.
