Job Description

Account Manager - Household products & Electrical goods

Location: North West

Remuneration: £25,000 - £30,000 + OTE + Company Car + Benefits

Company

Boasting a pedigree of over 40 years, my client is a well established and respected importer of electrical and household goods. Supplying to some of the biggest retailers within the UK, my client trades on the position of providing quality products at excellent prices.

Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for extensively building and growing the business within North West area, where there is large potential of growth within the cash & carry and independent retail sector. In addition, you will manager an existing account base that has grown considerably over the years.

Experience

- Previous experience of selling electrical goods and household products into cash & carry and independent retailers is ESSENTIAL.

- You will also have a good understanding of the import- export business

- Proven and demonstrable sales background

Person

- Strong and demonstrable record of managing & developing customer relationships

- Good understanding of import-export business

- Planning and organisational skills; able to establish efficient and appropriate plans for self starters and adapt quickly and effectively to unexpected changes whilst still ensuring objectives are met

- Customer service; understands and responds to customer needs and exceeds expectations where possible.

- Problem solving and decision making; analyses information appropriately in order to find best solutions and takes a balanced view to reach logical conclusions and make relevant decisions.

- Someone that is numerate and able to understand the import - export business
