As the Sales Manager you will tasked with leading and developing 8 Territory Managers who are covering London and the South East. The team will be focusing on the HORECA channel selling a portfolio of products specifically into this sector. You must motivate, mentor and lead the team as well as join them in the field on client visits. You will be responsible for setting sales targets as well as helping your team to achieve them. There will also be involvement in negotiating terms and prices with key clients in the defined region. Our client is looking for an individual with prior experience of leading a sales team successfully, ideally within the HORECA channel. You must be a strong motivator and leader of individuals as training and mentoring the team is a crucial part of the role. Prior business development experience within the fmcg arena is preferred and any contacts within the restaurant, hotel and bar industry within London and the South would be look upon favourably. Our client is a market leading fmcg business with a strong heritage in the UK and globally. A basic salary of £45k to £50k with car, laptop, mobile and bonus structure.
