As Commercial Manager, B2C you will be responsible for the strategic development of the Nespresso brand in the B2C retail channel and management of the licensed manufacturing partners. This role requires a strong, analytical focus to be able to develop the Nespresso distribution strategy and establish the Nespresso brand as the 'Ultimate Coffee Experience' in the target retail market. This will be achieved through effective key account planning and execution combined with innovative point of sale activity, evaluation and analysis and crucially you will develop the UK sales team and help them build these key relationships with their retailer accounts.
The ideal candidate could be a sales person with a Field Sales background and exposure to strategic analysis. In addition, she/he will be an established, highly successful people-manager with experience in building and developing teams of sales people who sell into the retail trade. The candidate will ideally come from a blue chip FMCG/luxury background and have the ability to add structure and process to the business. This is a sales management role based on relationships, not the "hard sell" so candidates will have to demonstrate the appropriate skill set.
