Business Account Manager
FMCG Food Sector Grocery Retail Accounts
This is a superb opportunity to develop your career within Grocery Multiples working for a world-wide successful branaded organisation in the FMCG sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ˇ Identify customer strategies and needs to incorporate brand strategies and develop business plans.
ˇ Develop and maintain customer rapport by understanding customer expectations and our capabilities to meet them.
ˇ Attend & participate in the monthly Brand Review meeting
ˇ Develop and recommend account strategies and tactics to maximize the sales and gross profit from the accounts under management.
ˇ Implement an agreed promotional plan within defined investment budgets.
ˇ Evaluate promotional ROI to ensure the most efficient use of promotional expenditure.
ˇ Develop category review presentations to support the achievement of the Sales plan.
ˇ Provide the business with accurate demand plans by sku on a monthly basis.
The Candidate
ˇ Degree calibre or equivalent.
ˇ Proven successful experience at national account manager level within a branded fmcg business selling to grocery multiples, for at least 2 trading cycles.
ˇ Strong understanding & experience of UK grocery trade.
ˇ Demonstrated understanding of category management process and awareness of how to use process to generate wins
ˇ Confidence and ability to develop and present compelling sales presentations.
ˇ Strong sales and negotiation skills.
ˇ Experience of & results delivery working in cross-functional teams.
ˇ Exposure and / or involvement with trade / consumer marketing.
ˇ Strong networking skills a necessity.
