Regional Account Manager - FMCG Food Sector
This is a great opportunity to work within the fmcg food sector for a successful conectionery company. They are looking for the following:-
Personality
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality, a person with a "can do" attitude. Reliable, persuasive, determined, well presented and businesslike. Keen for new challenges, responsibility and accountability. Must be able to get on with others and be a team-player.
Personal Situation
Must be flexible and able to spend one or two nights away per week. Must have clean or near clean driving licence.
Specific Job Skills
Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal. Must be computer literate and able to use Word, Excel and manage emails. Implement a journey plan to cover monthly requirements in terms of depot and regional customer calling.
Selling Skills
Must be a good face-to-face and telephone communicator. Ideally should be able to demonstrate success in effectively increasing distribution in the market place and identifying promotional activity to achieve growth.
Experience in selling to smaller core regional accounts would be advantageous.
Must be able to represent the Company at regional trade shows and must be willing to support the Senior Account Team when and where required.
The role reports into the Senior National Account Manager.
Salary: £24-£27k + Car Allowance + Phone + Laptop + Non-Contributory Pension (after a qualifying period) + 10% Discretionary Bonus
Location: Home Based preferably Midlands (Leicester, Nottingham, Derby) with a National Remit
