As National Field Sales Operations Manager, you will lead the strategic review and ongoing commercial focus of our national field sales team.
Our client is a global, US based food manufacturer, with instantly recognisable household name brands. Their European headquarters are based to the west of London. They have entered a period of exciting growth in terms of both profit and volume which has led to a restructure with a number of internal promotions and a need to further strengthen their senior management team.
Working closely with the Commercial Director and Regional Business Managers you will ensure that both the field management and the salesforce are equipped for success in the 21st century. This will involve analysis of current standards, performance and processes and making the appropriate recommendations whilst understanding the relationships and needs of both the category and national accounts teams. In addition, you will work closely with the HR function in recommending and implementing both in-house training improvement as well as external provision.
With a good degree, ideally business related, you will easily be able to demonstrate your successful experience of field sales operations within an FMCG environment. Strong leadership within your peer group as well as managing and motivating a team are prerequisites as is the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. High energy and drive will ensure that the successful candidate has a clear career path to senior management positions.
