Our client is a global, US based food manufacturer, with instantly recognisable household name brands. Their European headquarters are based to the west of London.
As a result of internal promotion, there is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially trained Category Manager to join the team and make a significant contribution to their Category strategy.
You will drive our client's status as category leaders through the development of strategic category management relationships with nominated accounts, developing joint category plans that deliver growth via range, promotion and NPD in line with the business's category and brand strategy.
You will be accountable for the delivery and execution of shopper insights and the management of category relationships. In addition, you will help maintain category captaincy within the grocery marketplace.
You will be of graduate calibre with an FMCG background in sales or marketing and category management, coupled with significant knowledge of the UK grocery sector. Highly commercial with strong analytical skills and the ability to probe and analyse research information. We are seeking high potential individuals who will progress quickly through the organisation.
