Job Description

Fashion National Account Manager located near Birmingham.

An exciting opportunity exists for a commercial and creative National Account Manager to be instrumental in the growth of a market leading fashion organisation. You will be given two leading fashion brands that have fantastic potential. One brand is one of the most well known within the UK. Approaching its 50th Birthday and having its heritage linked with Brit Pop they are looking for ways to continue their success and growth. Having a firm grasp on the UK market place this National Account Manager will be given a blank canvass to develop this brand's International standing within the watch and gift sector. The other license - although well known - is looking to further its distribution with the UK's Fashion market.

You will have an excellent eye for commercial opportunities and will be able to lever your in depth relationships with the UK's Fashion retailers to develop your permanent range as well as introducing gift and seasonal options - your internal networking skills are key. You will need to work seamlessly with the in house design team to take advantage of market trends whilst identifying the needs of your licensor and the retailers.

Once you have established a strong track record of results you will be able to develop your career alongside the businesses continued expansion and growth into alternative categories such as cosmetics and fragrances.

It is essential that you see brands as a lifestyle choice. Your natural affinity with the Brit Pop and Dance Culture will enable you to become the commercial face of the licenses you are representing. You must be an extremely creative individual and will be able to internally communicate the needs of your license and retailers. Externally you will be able to identify market trends and will be pivotal in keeping your brand at the forefront of the Fashion World.

It will give you a distinct advantage if you have National Account Manager experience within the Fashion Industry. Own Label and candidates outside of Fashion will be considered but you must be able to demonstrate that you have a strong brand affiliation. Experience developing export or international market places would definitely be of use but is not essential. You will report into the Birmingham office so you must be able to commute into the office 3-4 days per week.

As the International home for Licensed Fashion Watches my client sees their innovative and forward thinking designs to be the key to their success. Their recent diversification into the worlds of Cosmetics, Fragrances and Jewellery mean that they need creative, career minded individuals who can drive their individual careers along with the expansion of this market and trend leading business.
