Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team. The successful applicant will be operationally responsible for managing a number of client contracts which may consist of a number of services.
Day to day responsibilities for this role include:
- Building professional working relationships with clients and ensuring that an outstanding service is delivered.
- Ensuring that Service Level Agreements and KPI's are delivered on a daily basis
-Preparing monthly and quarterly MI packs
- Working closely with the rest of the team to ensure all client work is delivered accurately and on time.
- Visiting client sites regularly as and when required.
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and development
- Developing and implementing local business/action plans
- Taking responsibility for financial aspects- monthly invoices, profit enhancement, debt management
-Measuring customer satisfaction and taking action when appropriate
- Recruiting and selecting employees, as well as coaching and supporting direct reports
- Be an informed and authoritative point of contact for key stakeholders to address any contract, transactional or supplier issues.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience of working closely with clients
- Be an excellent communicator at all levels
- Have a strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Be self motivated and able to take the initiative
- Be willing to travel to client sites as and when required.
This position will be well suited to candidates with a strong account management/ client relationship development background. Experience of working within a print/document management environment would also be beneficial. Candidates must also be willing to travel around the UK to client sites when needed.
