The Client
Our client is the leading specialist national supplier of high efficiency automatic wood chip and wood pellet Biomass boilers for formed in 2002, has grown rapidly from Devon to cover all the UK & Ireland.There team of highly technically skilled engineers have installed renewable heating to over 250 projects in there portfolio.
Systems range from 45kW to 5,000kW providing heating, hot water or steam for almost any application.
Responsibilities
Working home based position, you will be responsible for generating new business by contacting prospective clients and presenting the product lines to the decision makers
Reporting back to UK Sales Manager you will provide details on the growth in revenue you have achieved periodically
To exceed sales targets set in terms of revenue and margin - currently £1.5m per annum with an average order value of £100,000
The primary relationship will be with M&E consultants & contractors. Typical end-users in both the public and private sectors include: small hotels, country houses, offices, schools, residential buildings, hospitals and large facilities.
You will also account manage existing client contacts to build and grow the client relationships that are in place, after all you'll have won the business and will know them well
Utilising your product portfolio, you will pro-actively source customer needs and act on these
You will use your experience, tenacity and resilience to ensure that targets are met and exceeded
Experience Required
Field based sales experience essential as is B2B contact
Experience of negotiating contracts and closing whilst maintaining strong profit margins
Self Starter
Self Motivated
Clean Driving Licence
PC Literate
Demonstrably successful sales experience in similar market
Resilience and tenacity are prerequisites as the competition will be fierce
A people person, you will possess the ability to instantaneously build rapport
Ability to understand and explain confidently to customers the Renewable Heat Incentive policy and the way heat is generated and used. They need to be able to demonstrate how the government financial support scheme for renewable heat works and how it can be applied to them giving them the advantage of both financial and carbon reduction for their business.
Desirable
Degree or HNC in Engineering or similar.

A competitive and negotiable basic salary of around £30,000 - £40,000
Uncapped bonus structure allowing an OTE around £50,000 - £55,000
