Sales Manager - Sales Engineer - Electrical
£35-40K + 25% of Salary + Pension + life assurance + Healthcare + 25 Holidays
THE COMPANY
The Company provides an all-inclusive Operation & Maintenance package for all electrical plant and associated equipment for renewable energy projects. Formed in 1995, and this company has grown exponentially and is now recognised as a world-class player in the renewable energy industry. Based from the UK they have expanded to a presence in nearly 20 countries. Their clients include major power companies and Wind turbine manufactures, for example: Nordex, Siemens, GE Electric and Vestas.
THE ROLE
This Sales Manager will be responsible for generating sales across the UK and Ireland. The Sales Manager will need to use their technical background to understand the customers' needs and what projects they will have in the future. The Sales Manager will need to understand client requirements, designs and specifications before bidding on projects and negotiating deals at director level. This can be a lengthy process so it is important that this person can handle sales on a project basis and maintain relationships over a protracted sales cycle. You will have the support of the internal technical teams when necessary to prepare large bids with high order values of up to £3 million.

The ideal Sales Manager will be:
- Able to handle long lead times and high order values
- From a Technical Sales background with either mechanical or electrical engineering experience
- A business developer
- Wanting a long term career with a rapidly expanding business
- A consultative salesperson
