Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell a solution that addresses the exhibition or conference requirements of a specific client market. Established for around 20 years, this is a family-run business looking to expand following consistent growth. All applicants must have experience of selling societies or associations. Business Development Manager Conference Sales JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager. AREA: National remit. BASED: Middlesex. BASIC: Up to £40K. OTE: Up to £60K. BENEFITS: Holiday entitlement. THE ROLE ·Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for a Business Development Manager to sell a solution that addresses the exhibition or conference requirements of a specific client market. ·This is a new business role, the Business Development Manager will begin by leveraging existing contacts before sourcing net new business. ·This will be a consultative sale, the successful candidate will target not-for-profit organisations. ·Whilst the role will be office-based when not on appointments, the Business Development Manager will spend a good proportion of his or her time visiting clients to ascertain needs in more detail. THE COMPANY ·Established for around 20 years, this is a family-run business looking to expand following consistent growth. ·Already established with some leading clients in the medical market, whilst this remains the target market, this company is keen to explore other areas where the service may be beneficial. ·They have an integral role in developing this company's strategy for future growth. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·All applicants must have experience of selling societies or associations (also charities or non-profit organisations). ·The successful candidate will demonstrate a consultative, non-aggressive sales approach as the hard-nosed approach will not be well-received. ·This company is looking for a salesperson that is highly professional, polished, and well presented with senior level gravitas. ·This company is open with regards to background but any experience in the events or conference arena would be highly desirable for this role. ·All applicants must be capable of international travel, at least a few times per year.
