Our client, headquartered in London and founded in the 1980's is a privately owned publisher of business and professional information. This company's objective is to provide relevant, timely and expert information of practical business use to its target audiences. Specialising in publications for the medical and financial / professional world, information is delivered in printed, online and in conference formats. Due to growth they now have an exciting open for a sales executive to work from there City office.
As a media sales executive primarily focused on Exhibition Space and Sponsorship sales you can expect to work on some exciting campaigns, be part of a winning team and have access to our client's full portfolio of media products. Business will be generated through a mix of strategic account management and new business generation where you will use your creative talents to pitch and present concepts of varying value to national and international accounts.
The ideal candidate will posses a minimum of 2 years media sales experience preferably gained selling exhibition space / sponsorship to a range of clientele. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, a proven record of achievement, business acumen and a strong ability to win, manage and close business. This role requires an individual with integrity, imagination, commonsense and tenacity.
The successful candidate will be offered a base salary of 20-25k with a realistic first year OTE of 40k plus additional benefits and ongoing career progression.
