Sales Account Manager / Consultative Sales Executive Award Winning Industry Leader
to £24,000 Basic (£30,000 OTE)
Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Are you a skilled "consultative" Sales Account Manager? If so we should talk?

A little about us:

We are an award winning industry leader in the exhibition sector looking for an experienced office based Sales Account Manager to fit into our "consultative" style selling company.

The successful Sales Account Manager will be joining an existing team of high performers and you will be responsible for managing, retaining, cross-selling and pro-actively maximising sales opportunities from an existing portfolio of clients. The role holder will also be tasked with converting pre-qualified leads into sales and providing outstanding customer service throughout our clients experience with us. The applicant will have the ability to think outside the box and have an eye for spotting ways to develop sales and the talent to engage and win the client over.

The ideal Sales Account Manager will have a successful proven track record in account management/telesales in B2B sales environment. Our product range is expansive so the ability to learn fast and to provide effective solutions to our clients is paramount. We are looking for hard working, ambitious and driven individuals who love to excel at what they do.

As such, you should be a fast learner with a driven approach and the ability to come up with solutions for clients confidently.

You will be tasked with:

- Managing customer enquiries, including evaluating their requirements and making relevant proposals
- Making business to business prospecting sales calls
- Maintaining databases and tracking all contacts
- Ensuring targets are met
- Generating your own leads

To be considered for the role of Sales Account Manager, you must have a proven track record in B2B telesales. Additionally, you must have the ability to overcome sales objections and close deals. You must be organised, ambitious and a self -motivated individual with an excellent telephone manner and the ability to think on your feet.

Although not essential, previous account management experience will be a distinct advantage to your application.

Please note that this role is primarily an office based position. Candidates must therefore live within a commutable distance of Peterborough, or will be willing to relocate, as remote working will not be considered for this role.
