We seek a determined Sector Manager for our Commercial Markets sales team to build on success we've achieved so far in the land and property sector.

As a senior member of our Sales and Marketing group, you will be fundamental in helping to drive the future success of our business by developing and managing the strategic and tactical business development of our geographic information into the land and property market.

Your challenge as our Sector Manager will be to maximise opportunities for our customised mapping to support the day to day activities of land and property professionals, as well as our portfolio of location data which combined with their own and third party information, enables them to search, analyse and visualise their development from the planning stage through to completion and beyond.
• Detailed knowledge of the property life cycle and financing of property investments, gained from working for a Consultancy, listed Property Developer or Real Estate Services company
• An appreciation of how location-based information is used in the land and property lifecycle
• The ability to identify new revenue opportunities for our data in the land and property sector, and create strategic and tactical plans to deliver these
• IT awareness, with some understanding of how data links together
• Well developed communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills, to enable effective networking, work with organisations of all sizes, and to develop and manage complex relationships. You are influential and credible at CEO/Director level
• The ability to quickly learn about pricing and licensing our data. Proven analytical and decision making capability along with the commercial acumen, drive and negotiation skills to identify, develop and close new revenue opportunities
• Tenacity, setting yourself challenging goals to support achievement of business targets; High levels of confidence and personal resilience; Effective collaboration skills that you use to build successful relationships internally and externally.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and determined Sector Manager to join our Commercial Markets sales team to build on the success we've achieved so far in the land and property sector.

Land and property professionals need current, accurate mapping. For long-term or short-term projects, for small or large areas, Ordnance Survey aims to supply the mapping vital for developing projects and creating detailed project drawings. And with up to 5 000 updates every day, we make sure users are working from the most current mapping available.
