IT SALES EXECUTIVE -
Oakleaf Software and Support ((web address removed) ), part of the Oakleaf Group develops specialist software for the Estates, Property Services and Facility Management markets. With an impressive list of clients in the health and police services, Oakleaf is looking to expand its reach into new commercial, local authority and education markets.
Their flagship ESTATESuite software continues to set a standard for ease of use and flexibility and provides a favoured solution to estate information management. The expanding ranges of software modules cater for the ever changing and increasingly demanding needs of those who manage large property portfolios.
As the first member of a newly created team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow a nationwide client-base which may lead to sales management prospects.
Responsibilities:
„X Achieve quarterly revenue targets in license, services and training sales, by generating and closing new business and upgrading opportunities from the existing client base.
„X Build and maintain a pipeline of business, building client relationships and facilitating a high level of communication between prospects and Oakleaf.
„X Lead generation activities including targeted mailing campaigns and telesales.
„X Gain a full understanding of the user requirements within the target market, demonstrate the value of the solution and interpret this in terms of the ROI (return on investment).
„X Provide adequate technical and architectural information to match user requirements.
„X Give technical presentations on Oakleaf product line and provide answers to technical product questions.
„X Respond to RFIs/RFPs and manage the tender process.
„X Provide references of similar solutions that Oakleaf have successfully implemented in the past.
„X Be aware of market changes and be able to demonstrate Oakleaf¡¦s competitive advantage.
„X Manage the sales process and provide sales, order and revenue forecasts to the Management Team.
„X Ensure a satisfied customer base is maintained such that revenues are maximised from this source.
Skills and Attributes:
„X Demonstrates a successful track record of sales, meeting monthly/quarterly targets.
„X Experience in running successful sales campaigns in the public sector or in estate management, an advantage.
„X Ability to listen, respond to the prospect¡¦s requirements and relate it to the Oakleaf solution.
„X Has the technical knowledge or interest to demonstrate the technical/architectural aspects of the solution.
„X Ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels, both written and through presentations.
„X An entrepreneurial self starter, with confidence to create go-to-market strategies for new markets.
„X Goal oriented, with a self-motivated, can-do attitude.
„X A team player, who is keen to make a contribution to the future growth of Oakleaf.
„X Prepared to travel within the UK.
