JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager
AREA: UK
BASED: HOME/DROITWICH
SALARY DETAILS: £30K basic + car/car allowance, pension, health care and uncapped target related OTE (realistic £60K+)
GGR is a well established engineering specialist with particular expertise in advanced network solutions. Our reputation has been built on providing bespoke technical solutions to suit specific client needs. Ours services encompass design, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of data networks and IP voice systems, including Web based technologies, security appliances and software, remote access systems over VPN, VoIP and MPLS technology. We have been trading since 1994 and now have a clear plan for achieving substantial growth over the next 3 years. Our aim is to at least double our turnover to £6M. We will achieve this through a combination of new business sales and through further development of our existing client base. To achieve this we are seeking to appoint a sales relationship development professional with established credentials. Reporting to the Sales Manager and as a key member of the sales team you will be responsible for managing, retaining and developing all existing clients to ensure maximum account penetration and yield through product, service and brand loyalty.
Utilising your skills, expertise, experience, industry and market knowledge, personality and determination you will seek to maximise client retention and growth. This role requires someone with outstanding communication and relationship building skills with a keen sense for understanding and interpreting client needs.
Experience gained over the last 3-5 years in a similar role (SME experience preferred) with a proven track record in delivering sustainable growth from key accounts is essential. Ideally you will have been trained in structured sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN. Knowledge of current technology in outsourced networking, WAN/LAN connectivity, VOIP, MPLS, Data or unified comms or experience of selling CISCO products would be a distinct advantage.
