The Company
Protomold is an award winning, fast growing, plastic injection moulding company based in Telford. We manufacture moulds exclusively with high speed CNC machining in aluminium. Our focus is to provide new product designers with the easiest, fastest and least-expensive way to obtain low volumes of plastic injection moulded parts.
The Role
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Representative is to generate sales to achieve goals.
You will be responsible for cold calling, qualifying decision makers, following up on leads generated by marketing. Identify client needs and generate interest in Protomold’s products. You will leverage appropriate resources internally to close business. The position will be based in Telford, Shropshire and you will be selling nationwide and to Europe. We are offering a high basic salary and an uncapped bonus scheme.
The Candidate
The role will appeal to an individual capable of working in a pressurised environment. You will have the initiative to approach challenges with enthusiasm and the ability to react to rapid changes in prioritisation whilst maintaining a clear focus on the company objectives. Exceptional time management and business correspondence skills are a must along with a high comfort zone with technology i.e. computers, software, plastic, rapid prototyping etc. an advantage. Being able to speak another European language is a significant advantage.
