AREA SALES MANAGER- SOUTH WALES

My client is a dealer for new and used light construction equipment in the UK operating mainly in the South Wales region. They also offer equipment hire and a full after sales service department to ensure customer satisfaction. They are currently turning over £2million and looking to expand their business in South Wales by recruiting an area sales manager to boost their sales. Candidates should have experience in selling light construction equipment and the ability to work under their own initiative.

JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager
AREA: South Wales and South West
BASED: South Wales
BASIC SALARY: £25K
OTE: Up to £50K

THE COMPANY
* Distributor of new and used Bobcats in Wales and suppliers of other light construction equipment such as forklift trucks, telescopic handlers and a range of other machinery.
* Sell throughout the U.K. but also export plant and equipment worldwide with a global client base.

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
* Proven track record of selling light construction machinery.
* Self-motivated, ability to work under own-initiative and manage own diary.
* Ability to communicate at all levels from company directors to local farmers.

THE ROLE
* Selling light construction equipment to South Wales market.
* The successful candidate will be dealing directly with local authorities, builders, utility companies and large construction companies.
* You will be working with a fantastic commission structure where by s successful candidate could easily double their basic salary.
