Business Development / Sales Manager - Defence £65,000 - £75,000 + car + bonus

Based: South East

The Business Development / Sales Manager will develop existing markets and client accounts and work with the sales and marketing team to explore and open up new business development opportunities. You will be responsible for introducing a structured approach to sales opportunity management and by leveraging the company's current market activity / customer base, the Business Development / Sales Manager will identify and close new business opportunities in adjacent market sectors.

Our client is a well established international defence company designing, developing and manufacturing their own products and systems for sale toUKand international markets. Whilst the current business opportunities are predominantlyUKfocused, the company is now expanding its focus with an international growth strategy perspective.

The successful Business Development / Sales Manager will be able to demonstrate considerable sales experience within a B2B environment, preferably within a defence, technology, manufacturing, engineering or related sector. You will be driven and focused, operating with a high degree of autonomy and capable of covering all aspects of the sales process on both a technical and commercial level.
