EUROPEAN SALES ENGINEER - ELECTRO MECHANICAL SOLUTIONS
£30- 35k + 10% SALARY BOUNS + MOBILE + LAP TOP + PENSION + HEALTHCARE + LIFE ASSURANCE
THE COMPANY
This business has 50 years experience in the manufacture of bespoke electro mechanical solutions for a wide variety of sectors including, defence, aerospace, medical, wind energy, and telecoms. Despite the tough economic conditions they have grown by 25% in the last 3 years. As a result of their recent success the General Sales Manager is looking to add an European Sales Engineer to help develop the account base
THE ROLE
As an European Sales Engineer you will be:
1. Based in the North East of England, you will be selling to an existing account base across Western Europe.
2. Travelling on average 2 weeks in 4
3. Managing sales agents across the territory. Here you will be leading and motivating them to identify upcoming projects.
4. You will then act as the technical lead with the client. You will need to spend time understanding the clients needs, liaising with design and project managers to enable you to come up with the right solution.
5. Every solution you provide will be bespoke.
6. These solutions will be high value, hence you can expect the sales cycle to be up to a year.
THE PERSON
The ideal European Sales Engineer will need -
1. A HND or Degree in mechanical engineering or electronic engineering
2. At least 2 years experience in mechanical or electronic engineering sales, applications or project engineering, or internal sales engineering.
3. French as a second language would be advantageous, but by no means essential.
4. Be keen to develop a career with a growing business.
