Project Engineer

Rotherham

£30,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience

ESTABLISHED MANUFACTURER: who has been at the forefront of technology for the past three decades. They design and manufacture customised equipment for clients within the Aerospace, Automotive and Plastics industries. The company delivers added value and cost efficiencies and the products have become an integral part of the manufacturing process becoming long-term partners to many of the global automotive manufacturers.

THE ROLE: Working as part of a project team delivering control system projects. Assisting the Project Manager in developing and formulating the Functional Design Specifications to meet project requirements. Working within the project time scales, independently formulate and develop the software to meet the functional requirement. Working within the project time scales, independently developing test procedures and carrying out functional testing of the assembled system. As required, carrying out on-site commissioning of the assembled system

THE CANDIDATE: Will be educated to Graduate level and have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably in control systems / automation applications.

They will have experience in developing PLC software for major manufacturers. Experience in developing SCADA software for major manufacturers. Experience of working with Information Management Systems and of working in the Oil and Gas industry on offshore projects. Ability to analyze user requirements and formulate a solution. Ability to create technical specifications and test plans

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: Up to £50,000
