SOUTHERN AREA SALES MANAGER
My client is a global market leader in the manufacture and distribution of the highest quality flooring products. Currently turning over £22million they require a sales manager for the south to double their turnover in this area. This opportunity subsequently holds a significant financial reward for a successful candidate who can demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to new business development.
JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager
AREA: South of the UK anywhere below Birmingham
BASED: South of Birmingham
BASIC SALARY: £32K
OTE: £47K
BENEFITS: Car (Volvo S40, Mondeo or Passatt), Pension, Private Healthcare Package, Laptop, Mobile Phone.
THE COMPANY
* Development and manufacture of resin floorings, coverings, adhesives.
* Current turnover in the UK of around £22million and is going through major domestic growth.
* They have established for over 40 years.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
* A proven track record in new business sales and ability to sell a technical product.
* Ability to provide a solution to client and understand their requirements.
* Candidates must have enthusiasm and willingness to learn about the product. Construction background is often useful for this particular role
THE ROLE
* The role involves a mixture of both generating new sales as well as managing existing accounts. (60/40)
* The successful candidate will be dealing directly with engineering companies, end-users, food manufacturers, floor contractors and architects.
