Manufacturing Engineer - High Volume Manufacture - South West

THE ROLE:
A Manufacturing Manager position has arisen with a high volume manufacturing company, based in the South West. This manufacturing process improvement role will involve you overseeing process improvements using the latest Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing Techniques. You will be responsible for workflow, layout of equipment, workforce utilization, implementation of new products, planning of introduction of new equipment, Health & Safety and resolve production line problems as and when they arise. Experience in a high volume environment is essential in this demanding and interesting role.

A well respected high volume manufacturing company that is seeking to employ a highly experienced manufacturing process improvement professional.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Degree or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
*Basic Electrical & Pneumatic knowledge.
*Experience of operating in a similar role in a volume manufacturing environment.
*Qualified CI Practitioner
*Familiar with EHS regulations and Ergonomics requirements.
*Basic understanding and familiar with Work Study requirements
*Be able to read and interpret technical drawings of pce parts and Mc's.
*Minitab Statistical Software user
*AutoCAD CAD 2d Drawing Software user.
*Action Oriented: Good Project Manager able to work to deadlines and budget
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: £33,000-£40,000 basic (dependent upon experience)
