Our client, part of an established multinational group, is a world leader in the development and supply of a range of high tech MEMS solutions with a diverse and apparently limitless range of commercial applications. The company, which has experienced impressive year-on-year growth over an extended period, is seeking to appoint an entrepreneurial business development manager to help deliver ongoing success in the rapidly expanding US and European markets.
Leading a small team, this role will have hands-on responsibility for developing profitable new business across a range of commercial markets internationally. The focus of the role will be on working with and managing a number of existing accounts, whilst further growing sales by identifying and exploiting new markets, territories and product applications for this highly customisable technology.
Candidates, of degree calibre, are likely to have a technical background and will have a proven track record of growing sales on an international basis, gained in a similar business, designing and supplying innovative high tech solutions with a range of applications. Experience of managing a small team is highly desirable and candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to think creatively and sell new, innovative ideas to customers across contrasting commercial markets.
