This global manufacturer of thermal interface materials, is now seeking a Sales Manager to focus on promoting semiconductor cooling assemblies, touch screen technology and membrane switches to existing and newly developing markets including medical and EPOS applications.
Sales Manager, Electronics
£45,000 Basic salary, + Bonus, Company Car, Bupa, Pension etc
Covering Southern UK and Ireland, Home based.
As a global manufacturer of niche products sold into high pressure/high temperature environments this company have built a well respected reputation World Wide through investing heavily in R&D, and therefore keeping several steps ahead of their competitors. Their clients include automotive, aeronautical, high performance automotive including F1, high end electronics and space.
The role of Sales Manager will be to maximise sales from both existing and new client bases. Being part of a remotely based UK sales and support team, you will report into the German office and European Sales Manager. There will be some requirement for international travel; predominantly to Germany, and a 2 week induction course will be run at the U.S. HQ. As one of the most senior people within the UK team, you will be turned to for technical advice and support from your UK based colleagues. Some knowledge of thermal dynamics will be required. You will also have full support from the dedicated Telesales and product support staff.
The successful candidate will above all be motivated and ambitious. You will want to have direct impact on the company as a whole while being a primary team player and enjoy working in small highly focused teams. A solid background within technical sales, and furthermore electronics / semiconductor industry knowledge is essential. Experience of mentoring, motivating and managing a small team would be advantageous as these relationships are crucial to the efficiency of service delivery.
