Job Description

My client is one of the largest providers of submarine cable installation, maintenance and related engineering services in the world. Their expertise falls primarily in four distinct markets: Telecoms, Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas, and Science & Research.

 

As the market leader they hold an enviable name and brand within the industry. Due to international relocation the company require a Sales Director to develop strategy and lead a global sales team.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, responsibilities will include establishing a well-rounded strategy to ensure that the company focuses on existing and new customers whilst pursuing aggressive growth in all markets. Managing a £70m budget offering installation and maintenance services to Telecommunications, Defence, Offshore Power and Oil & Gas.

You will focus on retaining existing customers bydeveloping a customer solution driven approach that creates a best-in-industry commercial and technical solution and also by adopting a 'lead from the front' mentality that focuses the global sales team on the end result.

 

To be considered for this existing and senior grade position you will have a proven sales and business growth track record. Proven at the highest levels you will lead from the front whilst also maximizing output from an international sales team.

 

It is envisaged you will have previous exposure to the telecoms industry, ideally focusing on the Oil and Gas sector. Those from the Oil and Gas sector who have been involved in other areas of the marine or subsea sectors either product or service. What is most important is that you have the gravitas to lead a highly commercial, professional and experienced sales team, whilst also able to negotiate high value multi-million £ deals.

 

My client is offering an exceptional package with a basic of circa £100,000 + Bonus + benefits.
